The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), in partnership with Movement for Maritime Philippines (MMP) and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), held an assembly to discuss the preparations for the upcoming National Maritime Summit to be held in September.
MMP gave a briefing on the state of finalizing the sectoral roadmaps to be integrated into the National Maritime Agenda. After it is complete, the agenda will be presented to President Rodrigo Duterte during the National Maritime Week.
The National Maritime Agenda provides the general framework that exhibits the strategies and activities the nation’s maritime industry will pursue in order to attain an inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth in the country.
